How to Play Minecraft

You start in a randomly generated world made entirely of blocks. Your goal depends on how you choose to play. You can gather resources like wood, stone, and ores, craft tools and weapons, build shelters, or explore vast landscapes filled with forests, oceans, villages, and underground dungeons.

In Survival mode, you must manage health and hunger while defending yourself against hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, and creepers. In Creative mode, you have unlimited resources and can focus entirely on building and designing without danger.
